For maps and directions to the websites of online maps (Yahoo Maps and MapQuest), use: 1 World Way, Los Angeles, CA 90045
The main telephone number at Los Angeles International Airport: 310-646-5252 (voice) or 310-665-0370 (TTY). Do not call the airport (or iFlyLAX.com) for tickets, luggage, travel restrictions visa, flight arrival or departure, or any other matter that should be taken with the airline you are traveling. In these cases, contact your airline directly. Most airline sites are linked from the page map of the main terminal at this site.
If you have questions about airport security, screening, or what can or can not be taken on board the plane to visit the U.S. government's Transportation Security Administration.
Moving a terminal building to another, you have to go through security again. (They are not connected by tunnels between the terminals.) And it's not allowed to cross the control zone, unless a ticket. The terminal buildings are arranged in a "U" (again, see map), with each building is about 150 meters (about five minutes walk).
Is a free service from terminal to terminal that runs in the Central Terminal area frequently, day and night. (Rarely is more than five minutes waiting for "Airline Connections" LAX Shuttle.) This bus will take a few minutes to get from one terminal to another (digital / back).
If you are meeting arriving passengers, the most common meeting place is at the base of the escalators leading to the baggage area at a lower level (or the customs and immigration exit points for international flights).
LAX is not a "smoker friendly" airport (and we here at iFlyLAX.com strongly recommend that you quit smoking - cold turkey - the same thing) and there are no designated smoking areas. But tobacco through of airport employees and travelers manage to get in a few drags outside the terminals in some of the most open, and there is a "Pen smokers" in the United terminal.
From all major airports in the United States LAX is really one of the comfortable travel, meeting and greeting, and in the short or long term parking. If you are dropping or picking up passengers, to use one of several parking structures in the Central Terminal, which is directly opposite the terminal Sreet individual and offer hourly and daily rates. (Parking meters are rapidly disappearing in Los Angeles.)
There are many parking areas in the long run around the airport, including private parties and corporate LAX Parking Lot C (near and relatively cheap) and Parking Lot B (more and cheaper). All free shuttle service to all terminals and frequent. Some companies offer private parking and special services. (But personally I use the parking lot C)
LAX can be powered from the Sepulveda Blvd. and north and south, and west highway through the 105 (on top of an exciting Sepulveda Blvd.), or drive west to Century Boulevard. from the 405 Freeway.
Finally, my favorite place to LAX Rendezvous is the restaurant meeting, located in the middle of the Central Terminal area, valet parking (if desired), a relaxing lounge, views, and require no reservation.
I hope you have examined the above background information, as there may be a test later. Bon voyage!

Riding the rails in Los Angeles
Who says that Los Angeles does not have public transportation?
Although the Los Angeles home to a complex network of bus routes and street surface roads, traveling by bus in any city in the United States appears lower than auto-stop (or even thinking about it!) As the preferred means to move the city.
But did you know you can get from LAX in Los Angeles quietly and comfortably in less than an hour to $ 1.60? Yes, the LA Metro rail network is constantly expanding. Take the bus from the airport a short zone on the Central Line Green Aviation Terminal Boulevard. station, and the small light rail board to Norwalk. On the way to the Imperial-Wilmington Ave. "Rosa Parks", season, will have to change trains (easily done) Los Angeles (north) Blue Line to complete the journey. (I should mention that you can also go south of Long Beach and the Aquarium of the Pacific.)
